The late Brenda Fassie, a legendary figure in South African music, and Master KG, a DJ and producer from South Africa well known for his worldwide hit “Jerusalema,” collaborated on “Thola Mandlozi“. The song features Afro-house and amapiano components, as well as Master KG’s distinctive production style and Brenda Fassie’s potent vocals.
There hasn’t been another documented joint venture between Master KG and Brenda Fassie as of my most recent update. But “Thola Mandlozi” pays homage to Brenda Fassie’s legacy by fusing her ageless voice with Master KG’s avant-garde sound into the modern music landscape.
