Karyendasoul Bio: Bonga Ntozini, better known as Karyendasoul, is a multi-talented young DJ and producer from Nqamakwe, a small village in South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province. Karyendasoul first became interested in Dance Music in his early high school days, and he later exposed himself to basic production software, from which he taught himself the craft of production.
With constant raw kicks and Debby bass infused with central African vocal chants and heavy African percussions, the 21-year-old young creative has developed a unique sound that can best be described as “Electronic Afro House.”
In 2015, he made his debut on Surreal Sounds Music’s “We Live 4OUR Music EP,” and he later released an EP named “Ambition & Dreams” on Lilac Jeans Records.In 2016, he appeared on another digital release titled “We Live 4OUR Music” with Red Bull Studios Cape Town, with a track titled “8th Brother.”
Karyendasoul also built a name for himself by having his Afro House song “Ordinary Gatherings” featured on the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) collection “Dopewax Approved: Kenny Dope & Friends.” House Music giants such as Kenny Dope, Josh Milan, House Syndicate, Todd Terry, and Man Without A Clue all contributed to the album.
Karyendasoul made a big move in 2017 when he released his debut E.P on Kenny Dope’s Dopewax Records, which led to him being signed by the legendary 4 time Grammy award nominated American Record Producer/DJ Kenny Dope, one half of the classic house music Masters at Work musical production team with Louie Vega.I’m currently working on new projects for several labels. The dance floors will be filled with nothing but uplifting and distinctive sounds of genuine Afro House sounds and Electronic grooves.
