Personal Life

Bonang Matheba’s personal life has been a subject of public interest, especially her relationships. She was romantically involved with local hip-hop artist Slikour until 2009, amidst rumors of a breakup via a Facebook message. In 2012, she dated record producer and DJ Euphonik, who faced assault charges following allegations of physical assault against Matheba. Despite initially pursuing legal action, Matheba dropped the charges after reconciling with Euphonik, which led to public scrutiny and accusations of dishonesty.

Matheba’s relationship with rapper AKA from late 2015 to 2017 also attracted controversy. Their affair began while AKA was in a relationship with DJ Zinhle, who later revealed the affair after their split in August 2015, during her pregnancy.
