Nomuzi was born on September 22nd, 1992. She grew up in Rynfield, Daveyton, Gauteng, a small neighbourhood in Johannesburg’s East Rand. She was reared by her mother and father, and she has an elder sister. She attended St Dunstan’s College in Benoni and went on to matriculate.

She enrolled at Varsity College in Sandton after graduation to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences. She dropped out of college after being chosen by MTV Base VJ Search in 2012 to pursue a career in entertainment.
