Vocalist, singer, rapper, producer, and songwriter from South Africa. Alexandra, Gauteng, is where he was born. Marcus began performing as a teenager under the stage name Hipnautik. Through his music, he gained local prominence in the township (hood), which led to his signing with independent record company Tales Of The Cool Music (of which he is a co-owner).
Mashiloane was born in Alexandra and relocated to Dennilton, Mpumalanga, when he was a child. They lived with his grandma, along with his sister and brother. Marcus was reared by a single mother (Rebecca Mashiloane) until he was ten years old. Brenda Fassie, Winnie Mashaba, Dolly Parton, and Michael Jackson are among his mother’s favorite artists.
All of these musicians have had a significant impact on Marcus’s sound. He returned to Alexandra at the age of 14, where he began his musical career. He began attending open mic nights with Buhle Chonco, better known as Pimp Push.
Marcus Harvey attended Minerva High School, where he began participating in illustrations at Thusong Youth Center. He failed grade 10 in 2014, forcing him to drop out of high school in early 2015. Marcus Harvey began his music career as a house deejay and producer.
