She sings in a variety of styles, but her favorites include jazz and neo-soul. Courus’ music is a synthesis of genres ranging from Neo Soul to Hip Hop to Contemporary Jazz to Soul and R&B.
Her career highlights to date include winning the Huawei/ 947 competition and performing on one of South Africa’s largest venues, “Joburg Day 2021.” She was recently a supporting performance at the Jazz Extravaganza, which included Judi th Sephuma as the headliner. She has opened for performers such as Vusi Nova, Zahara, and Thami Shobede at numerous festivals.
