Rakim Athelaston Mayers, better known as ASAP Rocky, is a Manhattan-based American rapper. He is a part of the hip hop collective A$AP Mob, where he got his moniker. Rocky’s track “Peso” was released online in August 2011 and garnered radio playing within weeks.
